ARE WE ALLOWED TO USE THE FACILITIES BEFORE CHECK IN?

Yes, guests may enjoy the resort’s facilities while awaiting room readiness.

IS THE RESORT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY?

Public areas of the resort are generally wheelchair accessible. Kindly inform us in advance should you require additional assistance.

Is there WiFi in the resort?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE A DEPOSIT DURING CHECK-IN?

Yes, a deposit will be collected upon check-in.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

All reservations require full credit card payment at time of booking. Credit cards will be charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) using the daily Bankers Buyers Rate.

Do you provide toiletries in the room?

Yes, toiletries are provided in each room.

Do you provide a prayer mat?

Yes, a prayer mat can be provided, kindly inform our travel centre of your requirements ahead of your stay.

Can I request an additional bed for a third person?

The rooms have an existing daybed which may accommodate a third guest. Kindly note that additional guests will incur an additional nightly surcharge, calculated based on the package / room rate.

Are baby cots available?

Yes, baby cots can be arranged. Please contact us ahead of your stay so we may make the necessary arrangements.

Can I bring my own sleeping bag for an extra adult?

We do not recommend due to comfort and space limitations.

Are connecting rooms available?

Yes, there are limited connecting rooms available in limited units of selected room categories. Kindly inform our travel centre ahead of making your reservation to request connecting rooms. Please note that these are subject to availability.

Which ROOM type is recommended for elderly guests?

We recommend Serambi and Serambi Sea View Rooms, as they are ground floor rooms with minimal staircase.

Do you offer flowers for special occasions?

Yes, floral arrangements and decorations can be arranged at additional cost. Kindly reach out to our travel centre ahead of your check in date to let us know your requirements.

What celebration decorations do you offer?

We offer decorations for Anniversaries and Birthday celebrations. For guests celebrating a birthday, we offer a complimentary slice of cake served during dinner time. Additional requests may incur charges, and are subject to availability.

WHEN IS DIVE SEASON?

Guests may enjoy diving and snorkeling programmes of various levels from May to Spetember.

WHERE IS THE DIVING LOCATION?

Diving takes place around Tenggol Island, one of Malaysia’s top dive destinations located just off the coast in the South China Sea. Part of the protected Terengganu Marine Park, it offers clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and dive sites suitable for both beginners and experienced divers. Kindly reach out to our travel centre ahead of your check in date to let us know your requirements.

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE DIVING LOCATION?

Tenggol Island is approximately 45 minutes from the resort. Transfers can be arranged with our Travel Centre as part of the diving programme, transfers depart from the resort at 9am and return to the resort around 2pm.

WHAT CAN I DO AT THE TANJONG JARA TURTLE HATCHERY

Our Turtle Hatchery presents a unique opportunity for guests to witness protected turtle nests and unhatched eggs, when in season, within a dedicated conservation space. Guests may also attend scheduled talks led by the PULIHARA© team, offering meaningful insight into the island’s conservation initiatives and coastal biodiversity.

WHEN IS TURTLE SEASON AT TANJONG JARA RESORT?

Turtle season generally occurs from March to late September.

WHEN ARE TURTLES RELEASED INTO THE SEA?

Turtle releases follow natural hatching rhythms and are therefore not fixed to a set schedule. Guests wishing to witness this special moment are encouraged to refer to reception and The Tanjong Jara Turtle Hatchery for updated information on the time of release.

DOES THE RESORT PROVIDE TENNIS RACKETS?

Yes, complimentary tennis rackets are available. Rackets are also available for purchase.

Do we need to book the Recording Room?

Yes, advance bookings are required.

Can non-staying guests enjoy the Spa?

Spa facilities are exclusively for in-house guests.

The monsoon / rainy season generally occurs from October to March. Kindly take note that during this time activities such as Dive & Snorkelling excursions are unavailable.

Yes, complimentary parking is available for in-house guests.

ARE THERE EV CHARGING FACILITIES AT THE RESORT CAR PARK?
