TURTLE HATCHERY AT TANJONG JARA

Tanjong Jara Resort, in exclusive partnership with PULIHARA, has launched a turtle hatchery beside Nelayan restaurant. Its simple wooden trellis structure offers clear views of protected nests while keeping predators at bay.
Guests can explore the delicate world of sea turtles, learn about conservation efforts, join informative talks and daytime nest inspections, and, if fortunate, witness hatchlings emerge by night. A nest-adoption programme also allows guests to safeguard a nest from poachers while receiving progress updates and an invitation to return for the hatching.

With more than 20 distinct dive sites encircling its shores, Tenggol promises unforgettable underwater discovery for every level of explorer. Beginners can drift above vibrant coral gardens in calm, shallow bays, while experienced divers can explore dramatic swim-throughs and historic shipwrecks, their structures now transformed into flourishing marine habitats.

As you ascend, the roar of falling water grows louder, culminating in a spectacular view of the waterfall’s powerful plunge into the emerald pool below. A refreshing swim in the cool natural pool makes every step worthwhile, offering the perfect finale to your rainforest expedition.
